About PPM

Why Peculiar People? To be peculiar means to be distinct from all others, special or unique. It can also describe a characteristic or characteristics that belong distinctively or primarily to one person or group. 

As children of the Most High God, we have been set apart to make a positive difference in this world and to exhibit characteristics that are distinctive to us. We are to be models of exemplary behaviour, high moral standards, humility and freely display the love of Christ as Christ is made perfect in us. We must stand out at our places of work, in our neighbourhoods and in our communities. Matthew 5:13 says we are the salt of the earth. Salt seasons – it never leaves a dish the same. 

We are to be the light in these last days to lead others to the love and saving grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

Unfortunately, Christians have also been caught up in the ‘rat race’ and outside the four walls of a church or a Christian gathering, you can barely tell the difference between a Christian and a pagan. 

We can only stand apart in the madness of this age when we not only hear the word of God but we apply them in our daily lives. The Word of God has to dwell in us richly to begin to change us from within.
